IFMHS Affiliated Studs
The rare and desirable breed of miniature Argentinian horse, known as the Falabella, are found only in small numbers, outside of Argentina. The IFMHS was established in 1986 to help preserve this most documented breed of Miniature Horse in History, first imported into England in the late 1970's.

Partially due to the rarity of the true Falabella Miniature Horse outside the South American continent, the Miniature Horse world has been the persistent victim of unscrupulous intrigue and dishonesty. The continued problem of people attempting to sell nondescript miniature ponies as true Falabella to would-be Falabella owners has led the IFMHS to establish an IFMHS affiliated breeder links page.

In the interest of consumers, only studs, which adhere to the strict criteria of the IFMHS, are permitted to utilise this site. Thus potential owners wishing to purchase Falabella Miniature Horses, can ensure that horses bought from these reputable studs are indeed true pedigree Falabella Miniature Horses.
